Never camp on a hill...

We have been so busy this year! Whether it was trips to Lauglin, Carson City or camping. there is always something on our agenda.

We left to go Lake Arrowhead Friday night to camp. The campground we stayed at was Dogwood. Dennis and his family had camped there back in the day, so Micheal (family friend) invited us to go we were excited. Plus the place had toilets and showers! My kind of camping!
Overall the trip was a blast. Well minus the freezing nights and the fact that the whole campsite was sloped so we were sliding down in the tent all nigth. We all would start out on our air mattress and then by the time we were up in the morning half of our bodies were off. None of us slept very well this trip. Well at least at night. We all did take a bomb nap Saturday afternoon. I will never, ever camp on a Hill again! EVER

Memory Loss...

I officially can't remember what we did last weekend... Yes, it was a whole 5 days ago...

Here are the details I remember:

Sat: Debbie's Bridal shower
Sunday: Lunch with Dennis' family & Martha's Graduation party!
(I can't believe she has her Masters already) So proud of her!

The rest is just a void... Must have been really eventful. lol

I must really be losing it! :)

Tonight we leave for Big Bear to go camping, I'm sure I'll remember this trip!

Goodbyes, Family time and Father's day

Andy is a grown up. Wow, I can't believe that he's going away to the Army. Special Forces to be more specific... I've seen him grow up from being a snot nose kid and now he's a grown man, going away to protect our country. We wanted to have a going away dinner for him. My Paupo, mom and niece and nephew were able to come down to say not Goodbye but Good Luck. Andy chose the Knott's chicken house. As kids growing up we would go there when we were celebrating. It was kind of bitter sweet to have his going away dinner there. Here are some of the pictures...

Sunday was Father's day. We had a BBQ/ swimming party. My uncle Owen and Nicholas came over from Rancho Mirage to spend some time with Paupo. Lisa brought Logan and drove down all the way from Norwalk. It's pretty awesome that she drove all the way down because she took the streets, she's scared to drive the freeway. We ate great food (thanks to Dennis as usual) and Swam all day. The kids were like Fish in the water. Even Logan liked the pool! I love spending time with family.

Stacey's a college grad!

I'll admit I've been bad. It's Thursday and I am just now blogging about last weekend... Better late then never! Friday night we drove down to SD to visit Stacey. We got there and went to dinner at an Hawaiian restaurant. Delicious. Then we went back to hang out. Love spending time whit that girl. :) Saturday was Graduation day and a super EARLY day for us. We had to be at the school way early because they were expecting a ton of people. We were lucky and got good seats, Front row of our section (which happened to be right where Stacey walked by). Watching Stacey graduate was the best feeling. I first met her when she was a Sophomore in High school. WOW, it's crazy to think that she's done with college. I'll admit I cried when they called her name. :) The Graduate procession YEY Stace! They look asleep. With her parents The Correia Family Stacey and the other Correia family :) Brother and sister Stacey and I Stacey and her SD friends (Paro & Rafi) Stacey, Angel and Omar Friends :) After the ceremony it took us over and hour to get out of the parking structure. (I'm glad Jenny was driving, I would have been flipping out) We headed to have lunch at Karl Strauss. Delicious! We had such a good time talking and joking around. It was a great group to share a meal with. The Gang Our gift to the graduate: Job search time! This is her reaction to the card we got her Cutest moment of the day! Stacey presented her stol to her parents to thank them for everything they have done for her! . Not a dry eye in the house after her speech! There weren't any concrete plans for the rest of the day. The parents went to the casino and the youngsters went back to Stacey's apartment to hang out. We played this card game called Phase 10. It's kinda like Uno and regular cards mixed together. I seriously suggest you get that game. I think we ended up playing for 3 hours. After wards we headed out the Greek Festival. I was in HEAVEN and in a food COMA! This weekend is Father's day, It's also the last weekend before my cousin Andrew heads out to the Army. He's enlisted into the Special Forces. I wish him nothing but the best and I know he'll do amazing. Bonus: My mom and my babies are headed out for the weekend. I can't wait and may I warn you now that it's going to be Picture OVERLOAD in my next weekend recap
